Long Term Care Social Workers of North Dakota Resource Manual

Provision of Social Services in Long Term Care Facilities have evolved in a rapidly changing framework of rules, regulations and time lines.  It is with this in mind LTCSWND identified a need to provide its members and others with direction and information to enable them to achieve knowledge and skills needed to maintain high standards of practice.

This manual is the tool which will provide social workers and designees with the knowledge base to provide quality care to residents and families in North Dakota’s long term care facilities.

Keep in mind that this manual is a general guideline, which can be adapted to meet each facility’s needs.  Information contained in this manual is intended to supplement federal, state and facility guidelines.
